She looks so big in this picture, I can't believe she is going to be a year old in a few days. This year has gone by so fast. Samantha took her first steps on Monday the 9th while she was at home with her Daddy! I'm so thankful that God has blessed us and we are able to watch her grow.

This is Samantha showing of her newest thing! She can stand all by herself. No walking yet, but we think it is coming soon. She also likes to hand you things so she can hear you say "Thank you" but she expects you to give it back within a few seconds. She is also learning a lot more cause and effect! She loves to throw her cup and say uuuhhhh ooooohh! I can't help but smile, it cute!

It is so crazy that she is already 11 months old. To think last year at this time I could wait for another 3 weeks to go by and now it's going by to fast. God has blessed us in so many ways with her and she continues to amaze me everyday!

On Saturday, Samantha and I went to the park with Kelly, Holden, and Samantha's grand-parents. They had so much fun on the slides and tunnel. Of course I was there with my camera!! We couldn't stay to long because it was starting to get cold. I can't wait till summer so we can play more at the park.

Happy Valentine's Day.. Samantha had a little party at "school" today so I went to see her. She is in her new class now with Ms. Daphne, and she loves her! This is the first time Samantha has gotten any "real" sweets. What can I say.... she loved it, and ended up eating two cookies! Play Time

We decided to put a toy corner in Samantha's room after Christmas because of all the toys she got. She loves it!! She will even crawl in there to play by herself. Which I have to say is pretty cool!

Shopping!

Samantha is shopping at Pottery Barn! She loves magazines, or at least loves to tear them up. Luckily she just likes to tear them and not eat them!

I just thought this was to cute not to share. I have found a new picture program and was up till way past my bed time playing with it.

10 Months old!

Samantha is 10 months old! It was so pretty outside we decide to take some pictures outside. As you can see Samantha is finally getting some hair.. well just a little. She has also become very attached to her "bear". She wants to take it everywhere, and gets extremely upset when I make her leave it at home. She is learning to give kisses.. or course they are the open mouth wet kisses, but they are so sweet!

Happy New Year! We were happy to have a fun new years with the Kitchens' family. Samantha must have know something was going on because she didn't go to sleep until 11:30. Holden made it all the way till midnight!

We all went to Waco to have Christmas with my grandparents the Sat. after Christmas. This made the 5th and final time to open presents! We have had a wonderful Christmas and are very thankful for all of our family and friends.

Merry Christmas from the Spears!

As we all get ready for Christmas I wanted to wish you all a safe and happy one. We will be doing the East Texas Grand Prix.. that is what I call it! Going to Chad's family Christmas eve and being back in Bryan at noon on Christmas! Just thinking about it makes me tired. I hope you all have a wonderful time with family while celebrating our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

9 Months Old

Samantha is 9 months old today..... wow! On Monday we went for her check up and she is 19lbs and 29in. I tried to take some pictures of her in front of our Christmas tree! She doesn't like to sit pretty for me anymore.. she has places to go!

It snowed on Wednesday.. which never happens in Bryan, TX! I was so excited to see Samantha's reaction.... I think she thought it was cold! It was such a joy to drive home and see kids making snowmen, snow angels and having snowball fights! I even made a tiny snowman in the back yard... I couldn't help myself!

On the Move!

Samantha is crawling across the room to get to her toy box now. I caught her dumping out all her toys and then trying to get into the box! It was pretty funny to watch. I love some of the expressions she makes now too. She has that "Who Me, and What?" face down!

MY BABY CRAWLED!

I feel so proud and so scared at the same time.. now she can get to things. After leaving my parents house for Thanksgiving Sunday. Samantha and I went to help Aunt Cheryl with her Christmas decorations, while Chad and Uncle Brian ran to the store. We were sitting on the floor and Cheryl pulled out some ribbon she had... That was all it took... off she went! Chad was sad he didn't get to see it for the first time.... but she showed him again that night! So far so really only crawls after things she is not supposed to have! The picture above is me getting her to show her Aunt Heather the next day. Time to start really baby proofing the house!
